The Armdale Yacht Club offers a Youth Sailing Program for children ten years of age and older for the months of July and August.

White Sail levels 1-3, Bronze Sail Levels 4 & 5, and Silver Sail 6 (subject to at least 3 registrants).

White Sail Sessions cover the basics of sailing. Bronze sessions introduce sailors to more advanced technical skills and racing, focusing on roles of both skipper and crew.

We encourage sailors to take more than one session if possible. The more time on the water the better!

White Sail Sessions (Beginner) $300.00 + HST
Session W1 June 29 - July 10
Session W2 July 13 - July 24
Session W3 July 27 - Aug 7
Session W4 Aug 10 - Aug 21**
** Subject to sufficient number of registrants

Bronze Sail Sessions (Intermediate) $320.00 + HST
Session B1 June 29 - July 10
Session B2 July 13 - July 24
Session B3 July 27 - Aug 7
Session B4 Aug 10 - Aug 21

The club offers the Canadian Yachting Association Basic Sailing Skills (White), the CYA Intermediate Sailing Skills (Bronze) and the CYA Advanced Sail Training (Silver)( ** subject to at least 4 registrants). The courses are run by a CYA approved sailing instructors and assistants. A safety boat will be on duty at all times.

Lifejacket (DOT approved PFD), soft soled non marking shoes, two changes of clothing, towel, lunch, notebook and pencil are required.

Transport will be available to and from AYC at the Horseshoe Island and Jubilee public docking facilities. Pick-up is at 8:50 am. Drop-off is at 4:10pm
