Women’s Learn to Sail Program

AYC Members $150.00 + HST

Non-members $175.00 + HST

An intense, enjoyable week for both beginners and intermediate sailors with volunteer coaches on their keelboats, supervised by the CYA sailing instructors. Age 16 and up are welcome.

Adult, Co-Ed Learn to Sail

Monday/Wednesdays 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Tuesdays/Thursdays 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

AYC Members $225.00 / session

Non-Members $250.00 / session

The Adult Sailing Program follows the Canadian Yachting Association curriculum and is run on keel boats as well as smaller dinghies (depending on the interests of students). Our focus is sailing “on the water”, as well as theory and on-land activities (knots, rigging, safety, etc.).

Lifejacket (DOT approved PFD), soft soled shoes and a notebook and pencil are required.

Adult Sailing Boats – Soling (22ft keel boat) and 420 (14ft dinghy).

Course #1: June 04 – June 15

Course #3: July 02 – July 13
Course #4: July 16 – July 7
Course #5: July 31 – Aug 10*
Course #6: Aug 13 – Aug 24
Course #7: Aug 27 – Sept 7*
Course #8: Sept 10 – Sept 21

Evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 pm

Option A: Mondays and Wednesdays
Option B: Tuesdays and Thursdays

*Note: Courses are not run on Statutory Holidays. Course fees are reduced for these offerings.
